Starting from the car park of the
Masos dels Recs, we head towards the road to Torroella, crossing it and continuing to the south on the path past the Go Karting track. We follow this route west until we come to a crossroads after the bridge over the waterway, the Rec Cinyana (where the allotment fences are), and here we break off to the right of the main path. We follow this path until we come to Mas Nou de Nicet, then we immediately cross the channel of the Rec del Molí in order to enter fruit orchards which we going around the edge until we come to Mas Martí.
We leave this farmhouse on our left and head South again along the path past the fruit trees, until we come to a white house, where we turn right. We continue in this direction for some 300 metres until the path veers to the right and we can see
Mas Duaner in the distance, our walk takes us past it, and from here we walk alongside the channel, the Rec del Molí, until we reach the road to Albons. We turn right here, heading towards l’Escala, and cross over the Rec del Molí and the Cinyana again, turning right once more after the bridge in the direction of Mas Vilanera, following a signpost which says “ Camí de Vilanera als Recs”. We take the footpath around the farmhouse, where we come across the Pi Gros, then continue until we come to the industrial estate of l’Escala. We walk South past the estate until we reach the path located to the north of the Karting track, where we cross the road to Bellcaire before arriving back at the starting point, where this walk also ends, in the car park of the Masos dels Recs.

XIV, and Can Japot, C. XVIII), are farmhouses with square defence towers where the local countryfolk could take refuge in the event of attacks by pirates. Many of the points on this route overlook the ancient pond of Bellcaire, which was drained to make more farmland.
